Quest CommercialThis system has been designed to connect property professionals looking for competitive commercial energy certificate quotes with fully qualified commercial energy assessors (CEAs).
Since 4th January 2009 sellers and landlords have been required by law to provide an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for all buildings or parts of buildings when they are sold or rented. An Energy Performance Certificate gives prospective buyers or tenants information on the energy efficiency of a building.
For larger public buildings Display Energy Certificates (DECs) are required. DEC's are valid for one year and accompanied by an Advisory Report that lists measures to improve the energy rating of a building.
By January 2009 all Air Conditioning systems where the total cooling capacity is greater than 250kW (in dwellings and non-dwellings) must have had the first inspection. By 4 January 2011 all buildings with air conditioning systems over 12kW must have had the first inspection and further inspections at no more than 5 year intervals.

DEA Mobile ToolsQuest currently has a PDA site-notes and EPC software solution which is tested and approved by BRE. This provides DEAs with a detailed set of site notes whilst populating the EPC, helping save time and enabling at least one extra job per day.
Through Quest, DEAs can automatically receive EPC instructions to the desktop, which integrates with the Quest E-Book appointment optimiser to manage daily schedules. The mobile tools from Quest help improve turnaround times and efficiencies by enabling DEAs to synchronise vital documents and calendar appointments from the office PC to a mobile device.

Quest EPC Graph GeneratorA free online tool that enables Estate Agents and HIP Providers to quickly reproduce the required Energy Rating graphs from the EPC, for use in sales particulars and on websites. The tool produces the graphs in multiple formats and sizes so they can be easily used, where needed.
